OUT-LGBT WELL-BEING SUPPORTS THE PINK JACARANDA MUSIC FESTIVAL
Published on: 15 July 2009OUT-LGBT Well-being is co-sponsoring the event and will showcase two of its largest programmes, namely the Play Safe Campaign (an HIV testing initiative addressing the links between substance use and HIV transmission) and the Prism (Prevention and Research Initiative for Sexual Minorities) Lifestyle Centre (an initiative aimed at promoting the health of LGBT people, while at the same time building a sense of community).
OUT-LGBT Well-being is proud to be associated with an event that will celebrate diversity, and promote acceptance and inclusion, with a day of music, entertainment and fun where everyone is welcome. OUT-LGBT Well-being is excited about the entertainment lined up for the day (including talented artists such as Karen Zoid, Elzabe Zietsman, Eden, as well as recently confirmed appearances by Marc Lottering and Melanie Lowe. OUT-LGBT Well-being hopes that the event will become an annual affair where people can come together, celebrate diversity, connect with one another, and enjoy the day together.

The Pink Jacaranda Music Affair, Saturday 15 August 2009, at the Voortrekker Monument Amphitheatre and Conference Centre in Pretoria. Gates open 10am till 5pm. Tickets R50-00 at Computicket. Ticket holders to use the entrance on Eeufees Road. Those purchasing tickets on the day should use the entrance on Jan Smuts Road.
