Beeld Plus plans to publish special feature pages on the Gay and Lesbian community from August 4 2009. It will be published first Tuesday of every month.

OUT has received the following invitation from Beeld newspaper, with a request to assist in marketing of this Feature:

[Beeld feels] that this community forms a part of the Plus readership and that information, editorial content and market-related advertisements have never been published before.

This feature will concentrate on events for the month, new stuff, the youngest places to visit etc. It will focus directly on the Gay and Lesbian market. As with all editorial content of Beeld, the content of these pages will be of a high quality.

Herewith Plus would like to create a platform for advertisers to aim their marketing at this niche market on a monthly basis. Plus is distributed in Gauteng, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, North-West and KwaZulu-Natal. Beeld is the only Afrikaans daily newspaper in Gauteng and has the third highest income per reader (newspaper). Beeld readers have disposable income.
