OUT staff took part in a protest at the Malawian High Commission in Pretoria on Wednesday 19 June, to demand the release of Steven Monjeza and Tiwonge Chimbalanga, who were convicted on charges related to homosexuality.

The event coincided with the end of the 2009 chapter of OUT's 'Play Safe' Campaign, which included a competition. The event included a prize-giving, where winners of the competition were announced.
