OUT provides health services to Men who have Sex with Men (MSM). In partnership with Access Chapter 2 and as part of a new health program in City of Johannesburg, Nelson Mandela Bay and Buffalo City, we offer the following positions:

1. Head office (Hatfield/Pretoria)

1.1. Financial Manager. S/he will be responsible for financial management. It includes annual and monthly budgeting, monthly financial statements and management accounts, redirection requests, assisting with annual audits, and management of sub-grants. Required: appropriate financial degree and at least 5 years’ experience. Preferably be a registered auditor and experience of working within PEPFAR Programs. R50 000.00 per month Cost to Company (CTC) negotiable.

1.2. Financial officer. S/he will assist the financial manager and focus on the management of finances of three satellite offices. Included is petty cash, other cash disbursements related to program activities, payment of creditors, bank reconciliations. Required: appropriate financial degree and 3 years’ experience. R20 000.00 per month CTC.

1.3. Human resources manager. S/he will manage human resources. It includes staff contracts, updates and development of relevant policies, performance evaluations, leave and timesheets, Payroll, grievance and disciplinary procedures. Required: appropriate degree in human resources and 5 years’ experience preferably in a PEPFAR program. R30 000.00 per month negotiable CTC.

2. City of Johannesburg (Melville)

2.1. Site Coordinator. S/he will manage the office, staff and program. It includes human resources, finances, monitoring and evaluation, clinic and outreach services, micro mapping and quality improvement, and representation on various forums. Required: appropriate B-Degree and 5 years management experience preferably in a PEPFAR program. R50 000.00 per month negotiable CTC.

2.2. Office administrator. S/he will manage the office petty cash, client appointments and reception, filing, supplies, and selected human resources activities (leave forms, timesheets etc.). Required: 3 years’ experience in similar position. R13 000.00 per month CTC.

2.3. Data coordinator. S/he will capture daily data from the field and clinic and ensure quality control, liaise with call center for clients’ treatment readiness and on-line medical commodities. Will coordinate all data entries and quality on for program and Department of Health. Required: 3 years’ experience within PEPFAR programs and with TIER.net. R15 000.00 per month CTC.

2.4. Clinic nurses (2 positions). A clinic nurse will provide needed biomedical services on specified clinic days (weekdays and Saturdays). It includes HCT, ART initiation, PrEP, screenings for STI’s and TB and behavior change interventions. Required: suitable nursing qualification, ability to dispense and prescribe medicines, and 5 years relevant experience. R28 000.00 per month CTC.

2.5. Outreach nurses (3 positions). An outreach nurse will provide mobile biomedical services with peer outreach teams (varying hours including after hours and week-ends). It includes HCT, ART initiation, PrEP, screening for STI’s and TB and behavior change interventions. Required: suitable nursing qualification and registration, dispensing and prescriptions preferred, and 3 years relevant experience. R25 000.00 per month CTC. 

2.6. Peer educators (15 positions). Peer educators will provide outreach services (including week-ends of after- hours). It includes community mobilization, behavior change interventions and conducting HCT. Required: ability to conduct HCT, good knowledge of local communities, and 3 years’ experience. R8000.00 per month CTC.

3. Nelson Mandela Bay
